兒童早期心理發展專家

莉莎·艾略特博士是芝加哥人,為富蘭克林醫科大學芝加哥醫學院神經科學副教授。獲哈佛大學文學學士學位,哥倫比亞大學博士學位,並曾在休斯敦貝勒醫學院從事博士後研究工作。除了教學與寫作,她還就兒童的大腦與智力發展四處進行演講。她在期刊與雜誌上發表了50多篇經同行評鑑的文章。她是《粉色大腦,藍色大腦與《小腦袋裡的秘密兩部書的作者。前者探討了性別的不同之處與兒童性別的發展;後者則用圖表形式表示出寶寶大腦從受孕起的發育情況以及其與兒童新增長智力之間的關係。目前,艾略特博士與其丈夫及其一個女兒、兩個兒子生活在芝加哥郊區。
